Description:
Built in 1710 as one of the original marriage houses, Gretna Hall has been a ‘mecca’ for runaway couples over the centuries. The original manor house has been extended to provide accommodation in line with todays requirements yet the hotel has retained a historic feel helped by the original Blacksmiths Courtyard where, even today, hundreds still flock to be married each year. All public areas were refurbished in 2003.
